Reminder to all....the lineage society banquet is approaching faster than we realize. It is Saturday, October 13 at Grace United Methodist Church at 6 for social hour and dinner at 7. We encourage to get your applications for First Families, Civil War and Settlers and Builders in early as it takes time to check them. We also will gladly fill them out for you or help you to do so. If you are missing a document, let us know and we can get it for you. You must be a member of our OGS Chapter in order to submit an application to us. First Families is for those here by 1820, Civil War is for any proven patriot...soldier, nurse who lived here or served here at any time and Settlers and Builders is for those who were here between 1821 and 1860.
