Dear Doug - You mentioned "paw paws". Oh, what a great fruit it is! My grandmother used to make "paw paw cake" and I can still still taste it. I just don't have a recipe for it. She was a cook at Holzer Hospital and I have often wondered if she made it for the patients for their meals. Thank you for bringing back a very fond memory.
