The Gallia County Genealogical Society at 57 Court Street has among its records....over 12,000 probate packets, about 900 lineage society files, close to 500 family histories plus all of the books we wrote including marriage records from 1803-1925. We welcome you Wed. thru Fri. from 10 to 4. We will also open by request and have done so about 5 times in the last month. Our phone numbers are on the door, or if you know in advance when you are coming, just let us know if it's not during our regular hours. One of our goals is to help every researcher who asks.
