    3. Sue, I have tried despartly to find info on Lemuel Petty. I know that he was intenerant minister. In a copy of Addison township school records he is listed as the guardian for one Solomon Thomas, mygrtgrandfather. Somewhere I have a copy of his minister license. His wife's name was Katura and I know that I have her maiden name written down somewhere. That had in the 1850 census, Lucy, David, Mary I, Catherine and Novel D. At one time I think he was in Springfield Township. I also read somewhere that one of the daughters married a Samuel Thomas, and a son married Elizabeth Thomas, making me believe that maybe these were brother and sister to Solomon. When I find those notes I will send them to you, I am not sure what I have but will share. I am looking for the graves of the Petty brothers and their wives. One brother was living in Addison Township in 1840, the other in Gallipolis. I checked the books I have and didn't find them. Hugh Petty died abt 1843, his wife Lucy (nee McAboy) died between 1870-1880. His brother was Lemuel Petty and ?. Apparently they both died in Feb 1860 - leaving at least 3 young children that went to live with their Aunt Lucy Petty. Thanks, SueEd NY __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
