Va., to have the Marine Hospital taken from the former place and established at Point Pleasant. Joyce, Have you seen any other articles about this . I am researching the Marine Hospital at Gallipolis, from 1883 to 1917. I am preparing a book to publish with the records of all the rivermen that had been treated during those years. I would really like to have more history. I will check the Gallipolis papers at this time and see what I can find.
