I also suspect that they went from Rhode Island to VA then to Kanawha to Marietta to Gallia...in the span of twenty years.I find him owning property in Kanawha in 1792 and 1793 and then around 1800 in Washington County (perhaps earlier) and then Gallia in 1806. Makes me dizzy! The thought of doing that and dragging everything you own and six children to boot. Those pioneers were hardy stock!
