[This article was transcribed without making changes to spelling or grammar.] Athens Messenger August 18, 1887 GALLIA There will be a three days' reunion and camp-fire, under the auspices of George Cook Post, G. A. G., on the river bank one mile below Crown City, beginning Aug. 21st. The Gallipolis Bulletin says: There are a great many female swimmers in Gallipolis and the moonlight nights of the past week have drawn many of them in the river banks, where it is said there was great demoralization, the opposite sex not being sufficiently modest to stay away.
