I will check my database and see if they were ever in the hospital... Just because I do not have a person does not mean they weren't on the river. It will mean that they were never sick or injured. I will look come Monday. Cheryl Ash689@aol.com wrote:I read with interest the discussion about the marine hospital. I was wondering if there could be any connection with the steamboats that went up and down the river after the Civil War. I am researching the Rees family...I think I am the only person on the Internet researching this family! Anyway, the Rees brothers, Charles, David, and John, turned to steamboating after the Civil War. These boys all grew up in Raccoon Twp with their parents, Charles and Elizabeth, and their sister, Elizabeth. David Rees is my great-greatgrandfather. I have look and looked for records about these steamboats, but cannot find anything, yet/ Thanks, Karen Seibert ==== OHGALLIA Mailing List ==== If you want to unsubscribe to the list, send an email to OHGALLIA-L-REQUEST@rootsweb.com with the word unsubscribe in the text of the email.
