At Gallipolis last Saturday night in Shartz's saloon, Frank Maige, a young man while under the influence of liquor shot at Sam Frank, son of Leopold Frank, with a shot gun, a part of the load entered Sam's left hand and injured it to such an extent that the third and fourth fingers and a part of the hand required amputation.
