    2. There are many Waughs in Greenbrier and Pocahontas VA/WV genealogy, as well. The patryonymic is even used as a middle name today there. It is highly likely that your Gallia Waughs would have come from there, either passing through or staying a generation or two. Try those sites! I just realized last night as I was entering past researched data into the computer that I have Waugh's in Gallia County. I have a George Waugh ( died in Gallia in 1858) married to Susannah Brown ( died in 1855) and were buried there. Also his brother Henry who died there in 1825 and his wife Elizabeth Brown. Anyone researching these lines who could fill in info for me or maybe find burial and take a photo. Anything at all I appreciate it. This is such an interesting and so helpful list.
