March 26, 1942 Gallipolis Tribune Glenn Deckard Related in County Dies at Columbus Glenn Deckard, so of Albert Deckard, of Columbus but formerly Gallia countain, died early this morning in a Columbus hospital. He had been in ill health from a heart affection for some time but had been in a serious condition for only a few weeks. He held a responsible position as engineer with Moores and Ross in Columbus for a number of years. He is survived , in addition to his father, by his wife, a son and a daughter and a brother, Kenneth Deckard also of Columbus. He has many relatives in and around Vinton. His late mother was, before her marriage, Margaret Gray of Vinton. His stepmother was formerly Mrs. Margaret Mossman Carter of this city.
