I am really excited about the Settlers and Builders. Here is an opportunity for those of us who are not able to solidly prove an certain ancestor here by 1820. I know that I have several on my paternal side that I can prove solidly that they were here in 1830, and suspicion early existence but not able to prove. This will work on the same principle the OGS Settlers & Builders with the ancestor living in Gallia County between 1 January 1821 and 31 December 1860. The Applications are not online for this society but are at the Society office at 412 Second Avenue. Remember this is the first year for this group so plan to be a part of this new society! I have joined both the societies; I have no idea on the list who is with which society. Do those communicating on the list belong to both groups or just the Gallia Co. G. Soc? I have been working with Henny Evans and love the effort she puts in. She is so kind and gracious. I am confused by the two groups, however.
