    3. Gallipolis Bulletin April 16, 1914 SUDDEN DEATH of Charles A. Wright from Stoke of Apoplexy Charles A. Wright, Singer Sewing Machine Agent at Gallipolis was stricken by apoplexy on K&M train last Friday and died a few minutes after being taken off the train. He had been to Charleston on a business trip and became quite ill a short time before the train reached Gallipolis. He was carried into the waiting room of the Hocking Valley depot, but passed away before medical aid arrived. Coroner Clary was called and viewed the body and it was then taken in cahrge by undertaker Hayward. Brief funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon by Rev. J. O. Newton of the Baptist Church. The remains were taken to St. Albans Monday, where the funeral was held the same afternoon in the Christian Church, burial being made in the church cemetery. Mr. Wright was a native of West Virginia and was 45 years of age. He had been a resident of Gallipolis two years and was in the sewing machine and piano business with his son and brother. He is survived by is wife and five children who will have the sympathy of all in their great sorrow that has come upon them.
