Just wondering if anyone with these surames would contact me in order to exchange information. Maybe off-list would be best so as not to take up time of those not connected. Well, if they are not connected to the Campbells in my family tree , I have no idea......but Lawrence County is right next to Clay Township, Gallia County, where my family comes from.... Denise, What part of the county was your Prose's? Somewhere I have some information on some Prose's that my mother-in-law did for her sister that was married into the Prose family. I would be willing to bet money that your Norman Campbell is related to the Campbell's in my family tree. One of my Campbells even married a Prose, and we know how those families all married into the same family as the others did....... Other Gallia List members: I had the same questions about the Society due to the address and phone number change at the bottom of our list. I phoned the number and reached a private residence, Ms. Ann Brown. The following day I received a direct e-mail from Henrietta Evans instructing me to leave a message on the machine (?) and Ann Brown would answer my questions. To Cheryl and Mary Lee, Thanks very much for your replies. I am very sorry to hear that there were problems within this great group of people. But like all groups of people, whether organizations or families, we can each have our problems. Some get resolved sooner than others. There is no need to share any further details. I will be sending in my renewal soon, and I am very grateful to all the help I have received from this society and from this mail list. Sincerely, Sheri
