Perhaps even better than a CD might be a USB drive. They are fairly inexpensive now and I have seen some with as much as 1 gigabyte of memory. Of course, for GEDCOM's and other text files one that big would not be necessary. Thanks for the information on the Angel connection. The information that you have on Wiley sounds correct but incomplete. I know that he married at least three times and had other children. Wiley was a brother of my g grandmother, Ruth Jane Angel. His parents were Cornelius and Martha (Patty) Atkinson Angel. I can look up additional information if you are interested. I have not figured out where Wade Angel fits in. I personally believe that he belongs to the rest of the Clan who arrived from Stokes County NC but don't know where he fits. I would love to place him since my g grandfather, Lawrence Angel had several children in the 1830 census but by the time the rest of the family was named in the 1850 census, the first family was gone, Lawrence had remarried and had a whole new family. Regina Angel-Smith Brownauntk@wmconnect.com wrote: I have just begun to research my family in Gallia County but have come across an "ANGEL" connection. Maybe this person is familiar to one of you Angel researchers and you can verify if I have correct information or might be able to add to what I have. Wiley Angel born about 1857 (died March 9, 1927 in Gallia County) married Sarah Frances Hill (born June 29, 1871 in Lawrence County) on Aug 25, 1891 in Gallia County. I show them (so far ) with 2 children: Grover Cleveland born Nov 6, 1893 and Ester born Nov. 2, 1897. Sarah Frances Hill was the daughter of James Wesley Hill and Mahala Cornell. Don't know if this is new and/or interest to anyone but I found this "tidbit" in my research for Angels. Just copied it so can't verify that it is correct. Wade Angel (born abt 1814 in VA died in 1880s) married about 1839 Jane Henry (born June 30, 1818 in Lawrence County & died May 12, 1873) Children: (1) Robert married 4 times ---1 Elizabeth Barnhart, 2 Sarah Butts 3 Joanna (Smith) Hyson and 4 Martha Stufflebeam (2) Samantha (3) Martha (1843-) married John Kyre (4) Zacharia (1848-1926) married Ellen McKeever (5) Elizabeth (1851) married John Saunders (6) Sarah (1851-1905) MARRIED Edward Nichols (7) Henry (1854) married Margaret I Christian (8) Flora (1862) married George Turner (9) James (1867) If I come across any information on Berry I will pass it along to the list. ==== OHGALLIA Mailing List ==== If you want to unsubscribe to the list, send an email to OHGALLIA-L-REQUEST@rootsweb.com with the word unsubscribe in the text of the email.

I also have a few Angel's in my line, my great-grandmother's sister Myra Edith Caldwell married John Angel. The only information I have is Myra Edith was born 16 Nov 1879 and she and John had the following children: Daisy, Everett, Ross, Florence, Glenn, Frank, Jack, Dorothy and Clyde. I do have more information I just don't have it entered into my family tree. This Angel Family lived in Clay Twp. and many of the Angel's are still in that area. Another thought about the name Ellsworth. There was a famous man who supported Lincoln's presidency and became the first Union Civil War Casualty. His name was Col. Elmer Ephraim Ellsworth. From what I've read he was quite popular and maybe people would name their sons after such a famous soldier. check out this link: http://www.medalofhonor.com/ElmerEllsworth.htm
I am sorry, I think that you got the wrong impression. I just meant if they sent it on a floppy I could print it out... I still have things on floppies, but am slowly getting them on CD's. I have a compaq and a floppy drive that is a year old... I know they are phasing them out. I have over 17 floppies with boat pictures for my Marine Hospital book that I am working on. I plan on doing those on to CD 's very soon. RIGHT NOW , CD form is the best I can do but it is slow work to convert over. Pam, I have no idea if this pertains to your Ellsworth but I googeled "ellsworth name" and found this interesting article: http://www.aylesworth.net/ellsworth.html Is your Lydia Hawley related to Clara B Hawley or Shannon Hawley? Diane
I'm curious about this Berry Angel. Sanford York had a sister, Charlotte, who married Elijah Berry in Gallia County, and she stayed in that area. I'll check that article out. I don't have either Clara B. Hawley or a Shannon Hawley in my file, but I haven't worked too extensively on that line yet. I have the direct ancestry, but that's about it. I know my Hawley line came directly out of Redding, CT, though.
