Googling the Ohio State Journal gives its history. Started in 1811 as the Western Intelligencer and in 1840 became the Ohio State Journal. Perhaps the marriage was published in the Ohio State Journal under the name Mrs. Catherine Meach and the original entry was C. Meach.
