You might try the Ohio State Journal. I've had some success with it, although not found everything I've looked for. Also, sometimes the article will run in one daily edition of the paper, but not the other, and they don't necessarily microfilm both editions. I've had the same problem. I have a copy of my grandmother's wedding announcement, with a photo, from 1907, but it's in bad shape and I've tried in vain to find the original in a Columbus newspaper. Good luck. I'm asking because there is nothing but a tiny, tiny death notice for my great-great-great-uncle in the Dispatch, which I general would expect. However, I have a physical copy of two separate, larger obits, both with photos, clipped directly from newspapers. Unfortunately, whoever clipped them out neglected to give me any source material. He lived and worked in Columbus, so I'd think it would have been an area paper. The clippings were handed down through his closest brother, and I see no reason why these would be from the towns his brother or nieces lived in because no one would know him there. Any information is appreciated!
