I know very little about my grandfather before 1933. From his marriage record it said he lived at 263 McDowell St before he married my grandmother. But there is nothing in the columbus city directory prior to the marriage. I was trying to find out when he moved from Fort Gains GA to Columbus, OH. There is nothing stating that he lived at 263 McDowell except on his marriage record. I can't fine anything. So I went to the court house and found who owned the property and that was no help.
