    3. I found this article on line that refers to a State Farm of the Feeble Minded at Orient, OH. It is about 13 miles s/w of Columbus. The old State Hospital (Lunatic asylum) in West Columbus was torn down years ago. The child could have been there. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9C0DE2D71E3EEE3ABC4C51DFB7678 389639EDE Rickie -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of shell Sent: Thursday, April 03, 2008 9:30 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [OHFRANKL] Institution for the feeble minded I found a child that I have been looking for in the 1920 census as an inmate of the Institution for the feeble minded in Columbus. Does anyone know if this place is still standing? Ours in Lima does not exist anymore but the T.B. Hospital still stands. I am wondering if their are any records of these children that were in this hospital and what happened to them or if they died their where were they buried? Looking for a Herman H. Hague b: 10-11-1899 but when he filled out his draft registration card in 1917-1918, they had his birthdate as March 21, 1900. There were 5 children in this family that were left to the childrens homes when their father and mother died within 3 years of one another. Supposedly no one took in the boys. They were sent to the Lima Childrens Home and the girls might have been sent to Sidney. Any info would be greatly appreciated. 3. Good Day to all, I had a family where the father died and, the mother could not take care of the children. All five children were put in a home in Seneca County.........I posted in search of information...............a few weeks later per snail mail I recieved files on each of the five children (I was shocked to say the least ) There must be records somewhere about the people from that home..........I'd check into it.......... I wish you the luck I had.
