    1. [OHFRANKL] Great Flood of 1913
    2. shell
    3. Almost the whole half of the state was underwater. From Toledo to Cincinnati to as far east as Columbus. What I have been looking for is a list of the 320 people that died state wide from this flood. We are looking for John P. Wildermuth who supposedly died in Cincinnati due to the flood. This is what his son was told growing up, but as a child I was told that he left his wife and son in Jackson twp., Auglaize County, Geyer, Ohio and left for Oklahoma. He would only return 3 times after he left Ohio. Once for his fathers funeral, once for his mothers funeral, the 3rd time I have no clue. He supposedly was a deputy sheriff in Yale, Oklahoma, but have not found any sources for that and married an Indian and had 3 more children, but changed his name when he moved to John P. Smith. Which we found in a 1930 census. Emailed the Hayes Library in Cincinnati, they had no list of deaths from that tradegy. He supposedly died in Yale, Oklahoma on Dec. 19, 1956 and was born on Dec. 3, 1882 in Franklin Twp., in Sidney, Ohio. Thanks for any help on this one, we haven't been able to find much.
