I am looking for any and all details surrounding the following: On March 13, 1944, Charles King, 55, murdered his wife, Ruth Annette (Ford), 53, at their home on Rhoads Avenue in Columbus.  Ruth's death certificate states that she died of a "Gunshot wound to the brain".  After murdering Ruth, Charles then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. I have searched for additional details but have come up empty.  I do not know any of the details surrounding what occurred in terms of why Charles did it.  I'd appreciate any info about what took place including a news article, obituary, etc. Thanks in advance for the help!
