Born to John and Celia (Hoover) Case who preceded her in death. Also preceded in death by husband of 50 years Alvin H. Weinland. Survived by sons, John (Mary) and Jeffrey (Jeanne) Weinland; and grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Casey and Kari, all of Columbus. Also survived by sister-in-law, Marian Weinland; brother-in-law, Lester Weinland; cousins, nieces, nephews; and a host of devoted friends, neighbors and acquaintances. She graduated from Wittenburg University in 1942 with a major in English and a minor in history and public speaking. While there, she was an officer in her sorority, Kappa Delta. She received a MA in speech in 1943 from The Ohio State University. Prior to her marriage, she was employed in broadcasting. She was a devoted member of Karl Road Christian Church and former member of Fourth Avenue Christian Church. She was a 55 year resident of Clintonvi! lle. Calling hours are 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at WEIR AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High Street (614-268-3593) and one hour prior to service at church. Funeral service, 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Karl Road Christian Church, 5400 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio. Internment following service at Hartford Township Cemetery, Croton, Ohio.
