My great great grandmother Anna Leavy was confirmed in the chapel there in February 1877 so I believe she must have also been a resident there. Any help on how to find the 1870 census records for St. Vincent's would be greatly appreciated. I know nothing about her family, whether she had any siblings etc. so I hope these records will be a good place to start. Hello. I requested my husband's family records from the Catholic Diocese in Columbus about 4 years ago. I took a while [several months] because they rely on volunteers, but I received all of the records I requested. Info included when the child was received, birthday, parents and their place of birth, parents' status whether living/dead, and when released from orphanage, to whom released and address.
