I have notes somewhere about Gideon and Irene. Gideon Scoby served 3 years and 3 months as a private in Company H of the 95th Ohio Infantry during the Civil War. He and Hannah Landon, Irene Scoby's Mother, are listed in the same dwelling on the June, 1890 Special Schedule for the Village of Morral Surviving Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines, and Widows, etc. census page. The Noble Landons (Irene's family) started out in New Albany, in Franklin County, before they moved to Marion County. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
