I am searching for facts/info, experiences about the Franklin County Children's Home that was located on Sunbury Road: The children, the employees, the interior, daily activities for the children, adoptions, diaries etc. The building existed from the late 1800s until around 1952 or 55. My grandmother worked there. I know from the 1900 census that she was there then. I have pictures of children that lived there. I would love to have more information. The home was moved in 1952....that is why it was numbered 1952 Gantz Rd. when it was relocated. May I ask why your are doing this? What a wonderful project.
