My great great grandparents, Solomon PONSLER & Chloe Malinda nee' (BRECKI(E)NRIDGE were in the 1850 Franklin County, Hamilton County census with 2 daughters. They were married February 7, 1847 in Franklin County. Solomon was of Fairfield County which leads me to think it was Chloe Malinda Brecki(e)nridge who was of Franklin County. They had several children before emigrating to Illinois where they show in the 1860 census with the daughter born in 1859 shown as born Illinois, although in the 1870 census it shows this same daughter born in Ohio. But they were in the 1860 census in Illinois, this we do know. Is there anything else known of these two "surnames" in the Franklin County area in that time frame. There is another Solomon PONSLER and he evidently has the same parents I was hoping to be "mine" <smile> and in which I was working toward finding "proof". All that I have all Chloe Malinda is her tombstone reads after her name ~ daughter of John & Rebecca Breckinridge (I have not "today" checked the spelling of her maiden surname in the picture. I have never yet been able to find anything of John & Rebecca, any spelling. Any help on this line will be gratefully appreciated. Antoinette (Tacoma, Washington)
