Grove City Record, December 14, 1934 Transcribed by Joyce Robinson JOHN WAYNE MAY Mr. MAY, aged 28, died near South Bloomfield Tuesday from Monoxide poisoning. He had left Columbus shortly after midnight Monday driving a truck, en route to a southern Ohio destination. His body was discovered in the cab of the truck, parked on the roadside near South Bloomfield, about 9 o'clock Tuesday morning. It is thought he had stopped there to rest and was overcome by gas fumes from a leaking exhaust pipe. Mr. May is survived by his widow, PEARL; a son, JACK; a daughter, ELOISE; his mother, Mrs. ELSWORTH SHOVER; a sister, THELMA MAY, and a brother, EDWIN MAY. Funeral services were held Friday (today) at 10:30 a.m. at Burgess Avenue U. B. Church. Burial was in Green Lawn Cemetery by J. E. Norris Sons. **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
