The Grove City Record, dated May 29, 1931 Transcribed by Joyce Robinson PASSING OF A YOUNG WIFE AND MOTHER The Grove City community was saddened Monday when it was learned that Mrs. ALTA SHOVER LEWIS had passed away, septicemia being the cause of her death. Mrs. Lewis, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S R SHOVER of Grove City, was born Aug. 26, 1901. She graduated from the Grove City high school with the class of '19. Entering the Ohio State University, she graduated from there in 1923. In 1925 she was united in marriage with ARTHUR BEN LEWIS and their wedded life has been one of much joy. Two children were born to them, ARTHUR BEN, JR, a lad of 3 years and PHYLLIS ANN, a babe of 3 weeks. Other relatives surviving are four sisters, Mrs. AVA CORZILIUS of Grove City, Mrs. LULU CANTER of Columbus, Mrs. MADELEINE BRAUR of Lakewood, and Mrs. NELLIE LEIGH of London Mills, Illinois. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Grove City, her entire life, with the exception of about two years after marriage, has been spent in Grove City. Funeral services were held from her late home, Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, her pastor, Rev. Francis J. Malzard, being in charge. Burial was made in Mt.
