Columbus Dispatch, December 7, 1921 Transcribed by Joyce Robinson JOHN J DAWSON In ill health for the past two weeks, suffering from a goitre, JOHN J. DAWSON, aged 47, former chief of police at Huntington, W Va., for four years, died at Mt. Carmel hospital Tuesday. He came to Columbus about 10 years ago. Recently he had been a motorman on the West Broad street and Mt. Vernon avenue street car line. His wife and four sons survive. Funeral services will be held at the residence Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment will be made at Green Lawn cemetery in charge of the H. A. Pletcher Co. **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
