Roush, worked Saturday in The Dispatch composing room, handling classified advertisements,just as he has for many years. When the day was over, Otto laid down his stick and retired after 33 years as a Dispatch printer. Prior to coming to Columbus Mr. Roush published the weekly Athens (Ohio) Gazette. He was reached his 65th birthday and his only plans now are "to take it easy". Page 8-A (picture on page) "DAMAGES OF $5000 ASKED BY WOMAN" Wylie S. and Lowell W. Shroyer, doing business as the Shroyer & Son funeral home, 1278 W. Broad ST., were sued for $5000 in common pleas court Saturday by Ann Fisher (address ommitted), charging she suffered a head injury when she stepped into the rear yard of the funeral home during the funeral of her brother May 15, 1944, and was struck on teh head by a blunt object thrown by some children playing there. Mrs. Fisher said she had become faint and was told by the funeral directors to go out the back door for fresh air." "DECORATED BY FRANCE Wright Field, Ohio, Sept.1- Lt. R.F. Denniston, Lima, was one of the 26 officers and enlisted men stationed at Wright Field, who were decorated yesterday by Brig. Gen. Andre Hartemann, official representative of Gen> Charles de Gaulle, head of the French Government. Lt. Denniston received the Croix de Guerre with one bronze star."
