    3. Well now that you mentioned about donating your body to research, I just told myspouce that is what I will do. Solve any problems and help humanity. My father's Dr. asked me if there was something that I would do for research. I told him yes. My fa. had Multimyaloma and somethng else. He thrived on the only known in 1967/8 treatment for this. Most people couldn't take this medicine which called for blood test every 6 weeks to determine the amount treatment. It would kill them. He lived 5 yr's + with it. I told them when he died to take the portion or part that they would need which they did. He was the first of this case to ever be able to supply anything as such. 6 months later the Dr. called me and told me that because of my generosity and my father's as I asked him and he agreed ,that they were able to get some much needed info and do research etc. that would help thousands in the future in that it would probably save their lives. The Dr. later also passed on to me more that several at thattime were saved and more on the way. . I told my spouse that I am donating my body to the reasearch Hospital and Clinic that has been Dr'ing me since 1978. It is a well known Western US place. My Dau. and my spouce have been after me to go without more and save money for my funeral but I am sick of hearing this when all we have to live on is SS and we can't even buy the medicines we need, plus we go with out more than I can ever put in a EMail either. We can't go anywhere unless absolutley neccesary nor celebrate Holidays as no money. Lights run light bill up etc. etc. Gas gone up. We are some that they call as "FALL IN THE CRACKS". You would not believe what all we have to do to save on food, ( have 2 meals a day) save on utilities expense, don't go to Dr. except almost life threatening and more and still can't buy (let alone save for a funeral), about 900.00 worth of meds and pay bare livimg expencs, forced ins. car and med. etc. We had to make a choice, to move into the car and live somwhat as still eating and gas wouldn't leave enough for meds. nor any to pay last expenses. So we opted to stay in the shelter of a house and leave it up to God as he won't take you till he wants you anyway. So I will be helping the public as well as saving my family the expense of a funeral and burial. If I can help in saving other's lives it is well worth it. After your gone, you will only have memories that your family can have anyway. If more people with med. problems as I have and suffer daily from would do this, maybe many more other's could live a better life and longer. I suffer 24/7 with the pain of damaged nerves caused when ith a chicken pox kid that was taken to a Xmas dinner in 2000, caused me and 2 other's , to get ill with SHINGLES. I am still NOT WITHOUT the horrible pain from damageing a nerve at the brain stem. I call it (The Curse Of ThE World". I also have Asthma, , and many other things as well of an artificial hip since 1986. Am facing another one with the other hip, and a Knee replacement plus eye problems from Blephospasms. etc. Anyway I will also be donating my body for the good of the people. Genealogy and this computer even not real new is what keeps me going. I have to finish as much as I can of my genealogy. I help people along the way as well. willma@sprynet.com From: "Sallie L Nelson" <gentenmawps@juno.com> To: <OHFRANKL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 30, 2004 6:51 PM Subject: Re: [OHFranklin] Re: Looking for Dr. David Beach in 1841 Ohio. > I hesitated to add my two cents worth to this discussion of grave robbing > and body snatching but since Maxine did I will, too.
