She is the daughter of Riley Monroe Chapin born 1810 in New York - a product of a Chapin who mariried a Native American. He is my "road-block". He was one of the 1st land owners in Deleware County - and then moves to Franklin. We think perhaps his wife was from Ohio - name Silvan? Can not find a marriage certificate- birth or death certificate. Am so proud of the Native American blood and would love to trace this. Tell me what you know! Ann
