My ancestor was Jacob W. Trout and he was indexed on the OHS site as Joseph W. Trout as he died in the county home and his certificate was filled out by someone else and obviously got the name wrong. Took me months to straighten out and determine the other name did not exist and the error turned out to be in my favor and it was my person all along. Good luck, Lindsey
