From the Ohio State Journal, dated Friday, Nov. 4, 1910: MRS. ROSA J. CASE Mrs. Rosa J. Case, wife of Dr. Fred L. Case of 235 East Rich street, died suddenly, Thursday afternoon, while using the telephone in her husband's office, having suffered an attack of heart disease. When Dr. Case, who had left his office, returned a little later, he found Mrs. Case dead, with the telephone receiver hanging in front of her. Dr. Starling Wilcox and Dr. Whitten were called but were unable to revive her. Mrs. Case, who was 38 years of age, had been subject to heart disease, but had not suffered an attack for a number of years until the one Thursday, which proved fatal. The body will be taken to Cincinati for cremation. From the Columbus Dispatch, dated Sunday July 10, 1949: DR. FREDERICK LEONARD CASE, 15 S. Brinker Ave., age 87. Survived by wife, Jessie; sister, Mrs. Frank C. Smith. Member of the Odd Fellows and Masons.
