Does anyone know what township the current day Linden area is located in and would this township name have been the same in the mid to late 1800's. My GGGrandfather (b. 1884) told family (Around 1950ish) that when he was a boy his father (who was born in 1843) once owned land in what was then (and possibly still) called the Linden area, somewhere "between the railroad tracks (???) and the river (Scioto ???)". I'm trying to find out what township this Linden area would have been located in with this limited information. Just looking for a place to start and the township where this Linden was or is located would likely be a good place to start - I'm guessing. Any suggestions would be Great. Thanks.
