The DUVCW is a non-profit lineal descendancy organization for women founded in OH in 1885. It has now grown to Departments in several states. Your lineal (direct) ancestor could have been in the Army, Navy, Marines, Revenue Cutter Service, lighthouse keepers, Squirrel Hunters (Ohio). If you are interested in preserving the memory of your CW veteran and would like to honor his name by being part of one of the most honorable CW organizations for female descendants of CW veterans, please contact me at jcall@cros.net.
