One possibilties is that he was the oldest son, his father had passed away as we have established. He most probably went to work on farm or railroad to help the family, in that case he would be listed as a laborer for his employer or listed as a laborer on a farm, most probably close to where his family is, but almost impossible info to find. We also know he married at 17, that was common for young men who were away from home. Most of them would marry their employers daughters or the daughter of a co-worker. These were somewhat primative and hard times. This era in history documents alot of these occurances.

His wife Hannah came in 1815. He was a very successful farmer, he had twelve children and was highly repected citizen of the community. He died March 28, 1832 and is buried in the Blendon Central Cemetary at the corner of Dempsey and Hempstead Roads. Johnathon Noble settled on 250 acres purchsed for $1.75 per acre in 1806. Much of Minerva Park Ohio and Strawberry Farms Ohio is build on his land. A log home that was his estate in 1806 still remains at 5030 Westerville Rd. The log home is now owned by Reiner Realty. Mr Reiner gives tours through the old house to tourists, local school children as a historical site, to the Noble family and relatives to which their is a Noble family registry when you take the tour. And any other historical or genelogical persons wishing to tour it. I have been through it and found it quite interesting. Mr Reiner has a great deal of knowledge about the Noble home and their geneology. Well worth the visit. His will in 1832 states: Johnathon Noble bequeathed ten acres of land on which they reside to his second wife Hannah. He gives her a ten acre parcal of crop land, a horse, two cows, five sheep and all the household furniture.
