Caroline, St. Joseph's cemetery is still an active cemetery and the staff is wonderful about doing lookups--no fee. Union Cemetery, too, is still very active. The records were microfilmed by the Franklin County Genealogical Society more than twenty years ago so you can imagine that 1980 to present leave out a lot of records. But, again, the staff is wonderful about doing lookups--no fee. You can find the address and phone numbers for both cemeteries at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~rocky/Franklin_Cemeteries/addresses.html The filmed Union Cemetery records are available through the LDS-FHC: Title Burial records, ca. 1878-1980 Authors Union Cemetery (Columbus, Ohio) (Main Author) Notes Microfilm of records at the Union Cemetery Association, Columbus, Ohio. These records are not arranged in careful order. Certificates of lot ownership, indexes, and minutes of the Board of Trustees are intermixed and difficult to separate by years.
