    1. Lynn, Cols. + German MSN sites re: PA GEN Jun 8 Chat OhPaKy; "Lobo", might yyou be able to help her in Cols?

    3. Hi, Lynn! Nice getting to know you on PennsylvaniaGenealogy Chat tonight (well, YAWN, last night and earlier this AM LOL) Here are the German and Columbus sites which may be of assistance to you. Priorities would be the ones in red. If any have -request behind the name you may wish to eliminate the -request when you subscribe: Blank email with only the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) in SUBJECT: and in the body of the letter/message; Caps and spaces do make a difference in the Group's names, must be exact or the robot MSN computer returns them undeliverable. All have -L for List; if you wish to receive a daily digest from them you may have to subscribe to the same group name but use -D instead of -L behind the name. Be aware that messages under -L come from the individual sending them, if you are afraid of viruses then use the -D as it will send you a digest of all of the day's transpirings, just click the "paper clip", will show individual emails; click email you want to read; gray box appears, click OPEN and read. My dear friend is in Cols. now, she doesn't have much time but, she may make a few phone calls for you if need be, her email is lzbthjngb@yahoo.com. I'm sending her a copy of this email. Give her your cemetery + dilemna/sp?/challenge and, if she can or wants to, she may be able to help. Again, her time is very limited, but, who knows, maybe something would pop out. Call her "Lobo" as her "handle"/"name." If you are in Kansas near Oklahoma maybe the 2 of you can help each other by trading info searches. Whatever happens, happens. Anyhow, here are the names. Research suggests that one of them was Marjorie Garcia.

My best guess is that it's your grandma's second husband's brother's wife's sibling's daughter. There are other possibilities, but I think the rest could be described more simply. Am I close?

    1. Re: [OHFranklin] Mifflin Twp. Cemetery?
    2. The family was living in Mifflin Twp in 1860. By 1870, her widower was living in Montgomery, in or near Columbus, OH. Her husband and his sister are buried in the same plot in Greenlawn Cemetery and Elizabeth's name is on the same grave marker as her husband and sister-in-law. The cemetery records say there is a "false mound" for Elizabeth. This led me to believe she was not actually interred in the plot. In a message dated 6/7/2004 6:00:25 PM Pacific Daylight Time, LINKWADE@aol.com writes: I'd guess that the stone was purchased but she was buried elsewhere. She could have died in another county (or state?) Where were her children living at her death? Linda

    2. I can only guess what a "false mound" is and am supposing it means a designated grave which was unused. Does anyone else have and idea/opinion? what is meant by "False mound"?

    1. Re: [OHFranklin] Mifflin Twp. Cemetery?
    2. You're most welcome. I actually have a set of these books from my mother's gen. collection and have other townships. My interest in Mifflin is an unnamed son of Thomas and Jane Britton Temple who drowned in Alum Creek in December 1822. I've never found a grave for a Temple in 1822/23 - probably buried on the farm land or is one of those graves that is no longer readable. Be forever lost to history I guess. Linda

    1. Re: [OHFranklin] Mifflin Twp. Cemetery?
    2. Hi Linda and thank you so much for your very kind offer. Someone has done a lookup for me and said there is no record of a burial for Thomas MILLER 1836-abt 1865 or for his mother, Elizabeth Kendal MILLER 1806 - 1866. There is a marker for Elizabeth at Greenlawn Cemetery, but the record states, "false mound only." In any case I thank you again for your generous offer. Warm regards, Dianna
