Some townships in the county have fairly complete plans of some of the cemeteries, but not all of them. You would have to contact the individual cemetery or the township office directly to find out if they have records showing the exact location of individual graves. 3. Hello Franklin County Researchers: We have received a great amount of email requesting information concerning Indentured Servants and Apprentices sent to the early Colonies. It would be impossible to list the over 10,000 here so we are including an overview of the process and hope it will explain the how and why. We have titled the page Indentured Servants and Apprentices Sent to the American Colonies 1654-1686. The piece was written by Peter Wilson Coldham as an introduction to one of his excellent immigration reference works and contains much usefull information that will touch many of our lines somewhere. You will find the page located on our web page listed below: The URL is. http://www.linkline.com/personal/xymox/ Once there you will be looking for the link FAMILY INDEX PAGE. On the Family Index Page enter through the link SERVANTS AND APPRENTICES SENT TO THE AMERICAN COLONIES 1654-1686. For those of you who are AOL members you may have trouble connecting to many pages that may come up with a message such as "Page Does Not Exist" and you can cure that by using your browser feature of Copy and Paste the URL to your browser and then enter from there. All pages contained within our web pages are free for viewing and study by all interested researchers. Enjoy Harold Oliver Director America's First Families

Her husband was Dr. Frederick L. Case. They lived in Columbus, Ohio. Rosa died on November 3, 1910 in Columbus. On her death certificate, she had changed her maiden name to DeYoung and that she was born in Paris, France. And her father was John DeYoung. Her body was sent to Cincinnati for burial on Novemeber 4, 1910. I am wondering if there were any children. Plus she had a sister that lived in Ohio, by the name of Minnie Belle Whitney. Whitney would have been her married name. Is Minnie mentioned in her obit.? Please help. Have been searching for years for these two girls.

I wonder if you can help me. I have read that prisoners from the Civil War prison at Camp Chase were buried in the City Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. Later, a cemetery was established at Camp Chase and all the soldiers buried in the City Cemetery were moved to that new cemetery. Do you know if there was any removal of the Civilians or Political Prisoners who might have been buried in the City Cemetery? I have noticed the point was made that they moved SOLDIERS. I wondered if they left the CIVILIANS in the City Cemetery. Thanks, Regards, Sherry joefleshman <joefleshman@netzero.com> wrote: All, I forgot to notify you when the Green Lawn hit 56,000 records. I found another photo in the same shop by a San Francisco photographer with the following written on the back: "Lena Schaab age 18 years Lena Schaab Searns" This photo looks like the oldest of the little girls in the "Kate Schaab" photo. In 1870 in Franklin Co Ohio I see a William and Kate Scaab with a daughter Lena living with George and Salina Schaab. In San Francisco around 1889 - 1891 I see a Kate and/or Katrina Schaab and Lena Schaab living at 806 Union. I think Searns may really be Serens. In 1900 I see a Daniel and Lena Serens living in San Francisco with daughters Aimee Edna and Anita Grace. Daniel Serens was from Canada and Lena was from Ohio. I see Lena Serens again widowed in 1920. Joecan
