Rhoads (the groom), he married a woman that went by the name Fray, possibly given Emphersia (or similar spelling). They would have been married sometime before or close to 1878, when their child Daisy O. Rhoads was born, according to the 1880 census. She (Fray) is with her family in 1870 (Franklin Co., Ohio) with her age given as 20, so she would have been of age at the time of the marriage. In 1880 the couple is located in Delaware County (Liberty), Oh. I am actually looking for whom she (Fray) married, and so far the Marion F. Rhoads, is the closest I can find for her. Any help will be appreciated. Oh! Her surname is Hedrick. Thank You! Sheila

    1. RE: [OHFranklin] George Miller Family
    2. Marguerite, Is it possible that George Miller is related to the previous Superintendent of the Canal Winchester Local School District Andy Miller he and his family lived in Reynoldsburg, Ohio? Might be worth checking out, Andy had two daughters, I do not remember their names. If you are going to go further with researching this as a possible connection I will try and get their names for you. 1. RE: [OHFranklin] Hittepole photo
    2. Margaret, You might give the current Treasurer of Canal Winchester Schools a call and inquire as to who is in charge of Historical or Alumni Documents, such as District Staff Pictures. I am sure you'll find them willing to help find an appropriate home for Mr. Hittepole's picture. Below is the most recent information I have for contacting the Treasurer of the Canal Winchester Local School District. Canal Winchester Local SD Mrs. Joyce A. Boyer jboyer@canalwin.k12.oh.us 290 Washington St Canal Winchester OH 43110 Franklin 614-837-4533 614-833-2165 Official Records of the District are required to be kept by the Treasurer of the School District. School District Records are required to be processed through the State of Ohio's Records Retention Program, before they can be discarded. Personnel Records are generally a part of the permanent records of the District. It is very likely Mr. Hittepole still has an employee file archived in the Districts records. Canal Winchester Local School District may appreciate having the picture and perhaps do a human interest story on the discovery and donation of the photo of Mr. Hittepole. My guess is there is an Alumni group that may also be interested in the picture. 3. I could if nothing else occurs. The museum is in the old Prentiss School, and my Grandmother lived in that school out on Gender for a while. I was very familiar with it, and Dad and I visited and told stories. He also donated rugs for it as he became quite a weaver in his later years.
