Have you tried a Google search for perhaps ........ ohio disease/epidemic/influenza/medical history; or maybe inquire at OHS; FCHS; State and or OSU libraries for their holdings? Checking mortality schedules (cause of death) may shed some light as well ? I'm not sure of the specific years, but there were outbreaks of yellow fever, malaria, cholera, and influenza throughout the course of history nationwide & worldwide which killed millions, especially 1918 and earlier. Hello all, I would like to make two suggestions for posting to the list. One, Please sign your e-mail and Two, Include what you are responding to or whom you are responding. I don't even bother to reply to e-mails that are unsigned and lots of the ones that are coming through are responding to someone's query but have no way of figuring out what the response is for. Just in case anyone is wondering why they're not receiving digest mail or having problems subscribing, the digest mode for this list has been "hosed" according to the RootswebHelpDesk and will take some time to repair. Until then, they suggest subscribing to the "L" mode to receive list mail. Thanks to the folks at the RootsWebHelpDesk and the kind volunteers from the Franklin County, Ohio list. Happy hunting!
