    3. Hello: The Piatt 'Castles' are near Bellefontaine in Logan County. I used to visit them every year I went to YMCA Camp Alfred E. Willson. If you go, check out the very long rattlesnake skin hanging on the back of one of the doors. One of the largest rattlesnakes I have seen in Ohio, although I have seen bigger in the Everglades. These beautiful homes are worth the price of admission; lots of antiques and collector items, and one of the homes has an incredible ceiling mural. 2. John Robert Gray
    3. Hello: Yes, I have your names in my manuscript 'Descendants of J. Frederich Schleich/Slyh, d. 1800.' With the exception of Mathias, these names are of the Pickaway Co., OH branch and belong to Henry Sly, brother to my Mathias Slyh. The Mathias Slyh you mention is most likely Mathias, Jr., son of my Mathias, Sr., who went to Franklin Co., OH, but his son came to Pickaway Co., OH earlier with his uncle Henry, probably about 1810. Mathias, Sr., did not get to Franklin County until 1828 as he remained behind in Harpers Ferry, WV to care for their mother and to oversee the sale of the family plantation. Let me know how you relate to the family. While I do not have any more copies available of my 2nd revision to the genealogy, I will be pleased to fill in some blanks for you. My mother's maiden name was Slyh. HI Marty! Blessings! Rev.
