I am looking for the death announcement for John F BRUCE, who died November 22, 1999 in Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio. I believe he may have been killed in an auto accident. It looks like Catherine has an obituary, July 24, 1942 page 2A. I think I was spelling it with a "K" before. The index labelled it as "Mrs. Catherine Waters." Margaret (Waters) Powers is in the Social Security Death Index, # 300-40-7509. It says she was born July 27, 1879 and died Dec. 1966. That was enough to narrow it down to say that she has an obituary on Dec. 9, 1966, page 28B, so I'll be able to find something there too. Familysearch.org says that Bernard Waters was born June 11, 1873. Of course, that is not an "official" record. I couldn't find a death date on him and he doesn't appear in the obit index so I'm at the end of my trail there. I'll try for Patrick, Bridget, Robert, Catherine, and Margaret on Wednesday and we'll see what I can find!

I didn't find any obituaries that seemed to line up with your death dates. Did Kathryn and Ellen die with the last name of Waters, or did they marry? They weren't in the index under that name, which either means they got married or they didn't have obituaries. :S I would be more than happy to do some digging for these obituaries on Wednesday, except for Bernard and Margaret. I would need a more accurate death date for Bernard since he isn't in the index, and I'd need at least a guess on Margaret's since there are lots of possibilities for her in the index.
