In 1930, Clarence REYNOLDS was in Columbus living with his aunt, Mary DELONG who probably was your Mary McCLELLAN. The DELONG household consisted of: head, Cloris, 40, first md at 25, OH OH OH wife, Mary, 35, first md at 19, PA PA PA son, Norman, 14, OH nephew, Clarence REYNOLDS, 12, OH To clarify the names/middle initials, the following is from the 1920 Columbus census: Clovis A., Mary A., and Norman G. DELONG There were five people named Mary DELONG whose obits were published in the "Columbus Dispatch": Mrs. Mary 1936, Mary Ann DeLong NOBLE 1966, Mary 1971, Mary Ann 1991 and Mary Alice 1997. I would suggest you contact the Columbus Metropolitan Libary and ask if their obit index shows the age at death of the Mary DELONGs. Clovis Anthony DELONG's obit was published in the "Columbus Dispatch" on Nov. 14, 1941 on page 6A so ordering his first may eliminate only the Mary that died in 1936. The library's address is: Columbus Metropolitan Library Magazine & Newspaper Dept. 96 S. Grant Avenue Columbus, OH 43215 Tel: 614-645-2275 I would put my money on Mary Ann NOBLE that died 4 Sep 1966 at age 70. Her obit was in the Sept. 6th paper on page 6A. A Caroline REYNOLDS d 30 Jan 1925 in Franklin County and if this is your "Carrie", Horace may have preferred not to be encumbered with a 7 year old son and placed him in the care of his sister-in-law.
Have been searching for Rev. Samuel H. McClenaghan for some time. I have discovered his father was William, and that both are buried in Fairfield co, Oh. Samuel's wife is buried with her people - the Crists - in Lithopolis, Oh. They had two children. I am attempting to discover where Samuel was after Anna died, if he remarried, and what happened to the two kids. Paul and Kathleine. They are listed as Clanagan's in the census with their grandfather Samuel S. Crist.. Thanks for any help and/or advice. Margaret Calvin

Rachel is enumerated with her husband in 1850 in Truro Twp., and 1860, 1870 & 1880 in Jefferson Twp. Her husband is enumerated as A. J. , A.Y. Andrew J, & David J. Painter. In 1900 she is enumerated as a widow, age 79, with her son Henry in Jefferson Twp. I suspect she died before 1910 in Franklin Co. I am particularly interested in a date of death for Rachel so I can pursue an obit or death cert. I have a lot of Coshocton/Licking Co. Wright info to share. Thank you, Jerry Jacobs
