Apprently he is in Columbus in the 1891,92 Columbus City Directory. I find him in 1900 in Texas. I have two Walto Denalsano's I'm trying to sort out. One immg. in 1892 the other in 1885. Don't know if its an error on the census or I'm looking at two different men with the same name. Can someone help me by looking to see if he is in Columbus the whole time thru the years listed above ? Erwin married May Wilkonson and had two children, Joseph and Alice. I have the entire Wittenmeier Family tree dating back to 1695 in Bubenhausen Germany. Behnen who died on Apr 18, 1944 in Franklin Co, OH. He was married around 1888 to Elizabeth who was born Jun 1868 in Ohio. Their children were William Thomas born Feb 6, 1889, Kathleen born Jul 1891, Edward Joseph born Dec 6, 1896 and Frances born Nov 1898. William married Lola and had a daughter, Audrey born 22 Jun 1912 and died 25 Dec 1997 - she married a Steller. Kathleen married Erwin F. Cook according to 1930 census. I am not sure what happened to Edward (although he served in WWI) or Frances. I am trying to connect this family back to its German roots and need to verify some info with the descendants. I was trying to place a watch that came to me through my grandmother. Her mother lived in Columbus(after a divorce in New York), and my grandmother spent some time with her, before returning to her father's family. I have a photo with her wearing the watch around her neck. It places the the picture. There is a marking on the case CWC CO. Underneath the initials is a swirl and the words "trademark".
