Probably the best place to start is at the main branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library http://www.columbuslibrary.org/ About a year ago the library, which already had an excellent genealogy section, received the extensive genealogy collection from the State Library of Ohio when it closed the genealogy department. In addition, the Ohio Historical Society Archives/Library (the State Archives of Ohio) http://www.ohiohistory.org/resource/archlib/ holds actual records from the early years of Franklin and surrounding counties. They have extremely limited hours and you should be sure to familiarize yourself with their "rules and procedures." Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Go to http://www.genealogybug.net/franklin_county/maps.htm and the first map shows where Blendon Township is even though that map represents the townships very early in the county's history. If you scroll down the page to the thumbnails of the individual townships of about 1895 and click on Clinton Township you will find Ohio State University near the lower left corner of the map. Not much had changed by 1910. Leona ----- Original Message ----- From: "From Carol" <[email protected]> > What part of Franklin county is Blendon Township?
