Does anyone know where to find Chancery Court records for the period 1832-1842 that are for the Fayette and Pickaway Co. area? I found in Pickaway Co. Common Pleas records, March term 1843, where the case had been settled in the last term of Chancery court. Have not been able to find any Chancery court records before 1843 in Pickaway Co. or in the Columbus, Ohio State library for that area. Would there have been a regional Chancery court during this period that covered the Pickaway & Fayette area? Also, I plan to visit Fayette County in mid September for research and would like to know where would be the best place to go for early records(1810-1850)? Is there a regional depository for this area? Thanks for any help or suggestions you can provide. Karen
