Does anyone know whether ALL the townships in Fayette County used the same number in the OHIO 1850 Census Index? I am compiling an exhaustive Table of Contents for the microfilmed reels & creating labels for the microfilm boxes from this data. I would like to indicate which twp uses which number (ie stamped or handwritten) as I've read that this can vary from twp to twp in the same county.
