Yes there is such a place as Washington Court House. Its the county seat of Fayette Co, Ohio. Finding places where our ancestors lived is very important. I find that a Rand MCNally map book is invaluable in doing your research. We have been doing genealogy for over 20 years and we wear out a Rand McNally about every 2 years from use. Whenever I teach anyone or a class to do genealogy I always suggest to them to get one. Its one of the best inexpensive investments that you can use. Joan
